Asilah Morocco



The city of Asilah Morocco is located in the northern part of this north African country and is very close to the country of Spain. Many travelers who enter Morocco from Spain pass through Asilah, and many others end up spending a day or two here. Since cars are not allowed within the medina of Asilah - and because the city itself is quite compact in size - walking is the preferred and most practical method of getting around here. To the north and the south of Asilah, there are miles of gorgeous, pristine beaches where the majority of visitors spend most of their time. Indeed, the ocean is a huge draw in this north Moroccan town, and you should make a point of dedicating at least one day to the lovely waters here. The great thing about Asilah is that you do not need to go far to find a suitable beach; there are dozens within a very reasonable distance from town. Between exploring Asilah Morocco on foot and luxuriating on the many local beaches, you can while away a lot of time in this lovely place.
