Asilah
Morocco
The city of Asilah Morocco
is located in
the northern part of this
north African country and is very close to the country of Spain. Many
travelers who enter Morocco from Spain pass through Asilah, and many
others end up spending a day or two here. Because it is a seaside
resort, Asilah is a wonderful place for weary travelers to spend a few
days resting and relaxing during a longer tour of the country. The
local residents of Asilah happily welcome tourists, and rely upon them
a great deal as a part of their local economy. Like many Moroccan
towns, Asilah has a medina that serves as the focal point life here,
and anyone visiting this town should make sure to set aside some time
to explore it.
The
Best of Asilah
Morocco
Since
cars are not allowed within the medina of Asilah - and because the city
itself is quite compact in size - walking is the preferred and most
practical method of getting around here. Besides, going it on foot
allows you to more carefully take in the surroundings in Asilah Morocco.
If you bring your camera with you, you will be able to take many great
photographs of the scenic areas around the city. It is easy to spend an
afternoon here, simply wandering around and trying out the food at various
different restaurants and food stands. You will also be able to do a fair
amount of shopping in Asilah, and will probably come across a great souvenir
or keepsake to remember your visit to Morocco with.
Asilah
Morocco, the First Town South of Tangier
To
the north and the south of Asilah, there are miles of gorgeous,
pristine beaches where the majority of visitors spend most of their
time. Indeed, the ocean is a huge draw in this north Moroccan town, and
you should make a point of dedicating at least one day to the lovely
waters here. The great thing about Asilah is that you do not need to go
far to find a suitable beach; there are dozens within a very reasonable
distance from town. Between exploring Asilah Morocco on foot and
luxuriating on the many local beaches, you can while away a lot of time
in this lovely place.
